Satisfaction surrounds the first edition of the prize.
The trolley Origo2 by Vileda is the winner of the “PULIRE 2019 Product of the Year”.
During the awards ceremony, which took place at the Afidamp booth in Hall 6 of Veronafiere, the three finalists were revealed: the Vileda trolley, proclaimed the winner, the floor cleaning system by Unger, and the chemical product by Wermer& Mertz.
Toni D’Andrea, Paul Goldin, Michel de Bruin, Tibor Ritz, Virna Re and Cássia Almeida sat on the international judges panel.
Taking part in this edition were a total of 33 products (made by 18 Italian and 15 international companies), specifically, 9 products in the Machinery category; 6 in Equipment; 7 in Products and Accessories for the Environment; 5 in Cleaning, Maintenance and Disinfecting Products; 3 in IT services; 2 in Components and finally, 1 in the Accessories category. The products were made by 25 manufacturers – 14 Italian and 11 international (Germany, China, the US, the Netherlands, Slovakia) which are also participating in the PULIRE 2019 event as either exhibitors or co-exhibitors.
The selection was based on quality, reliability, environmental compatibility, ergonomic efficiency and convenience, all different characteristics but all equally important, because they represent the traits buyers are looking for. The new Award was created to recognize the research of professional cleaning industry companies as well as the market response to the products.
As underlined by Toni D’Andrea, CEO Afidamp Servizi, which created the prize, the objectives of the international recognition are to “stimulate, incentivize and promote the study and commitment of companies in research and in results, supported in the idea of this Prize, while understanding how important the market response is.”
