The ISSA PULIRE NETWORK’s Board of Directors resolves to postpone the Fair’s twenty-fifth edition
Milan, 2 November 2020 - On 29 October, the Board of Directors of fair organizers ISSA PULIRE NETWORK unanimously took an important decision to put back the 25th edition of the fair in the Verona Fiere district from 18 to 20 May to 7 to 9 September.
The effects of the pandemic continue to jeopardize productive activities and services, particularly affecting all spheres where contact with the public and social contact among industry professionals are the key elements around which success and consensus are built.
Along with museums, concerts and other venues that serve as a focus for people coming together, exhibitions and fairs are among the first to have had their raison d’etre and prerogatives sacrificed.
The ISSA PULIRE organizational office has decided to announce this resolution, taken well in advance so that everyone, whether they be exhibitors, fitters or visitors, can plan and reorganize their calendars to take this update into account.
“We have taken a reasoned, responsible and above all definitive decision in the interests of industry professionals, exhibitors and visitors, driven by the desire to ensure optimal safety conditions for all and to lay the foundations for a passionate and effective Fair as always,” says Toni D’Andrea, CEO of ISSA PULIRE NETWORK.
By September next year, we hope that the critical phase of the pandemic will be behind us, thanks in part to the availability of a vaccine, and that normal conditions will have been restored.
At the recently-concluded 2020 edition of the Forum PULIRE, Walter Ricciardi, a Professor of Hygiene and Preventive Medicine, and a Scientific Advisor to the Italian Minister of Health on the coronavirus pandemic, said that “all pandemics have had a second wave, and this one will be no exception.” However, the Professor was keen to reassure us that in 2021 the Covid-19 pandemic would be defeated for sure, allowing everyone to return to their normal activities.
ISSA PULIRE’s organizational staff is already working to reorganize all of its activities, paving the way for a highly-anticipated and successful fair next year.
We look forward to seeing you all in Verona between 7 and 9 September 2021.
